This does exactly what you??d want and expect. See my video. It??s 100 degrees today and with my portable air conditioner it??s about 82 in here. I added some small ice cubes and water from the fridge to this fan and it has a nice cool breeze blowing right on me. My temp gauge after a few minutes of it running is now reading 80 next to me. The water tray does not open all the way-only about an inch, but if you have some smaller ice cubes, they??ll fit in there fine. Perfect for sitting on the couch or while in bed or at your desk in a dryer heat. Don??t expect more from it than that. It??s got a nice fan speed and is relatively quiet. Not sure how long the water will last, but they??re is a low water level light on top.I like the drip tray, I was worried about water leakage from drips since it mists.

Cheap plastic, pretty loud- you can hear the water dripping and the fan running. Doesn??t do much unless you??re sitting right in front of it. Worth $30? I guess, it??s better than a regular fan but not sure how long it will run/last.
