Why not have additional coverage on an item purchased for over $400? I have a 3-1 portable AC unit with the standard 1 year factory warranty. Anything could happen over the additional 3 years. Just nice to have a piece of mind. The cost for this plan is cheap in my opinion. Lets Roll!

This 4 year extended warranty starts the SAME DAY that you purchase your item,
It should start when the manufacturers warranty ENDS,
So, the first year that I have my Air Conditioner, it is guaranteed by Whirlpool AND by Asurion
So you’re really getting a THREE year extended Warranty,
For the first year, you use your manufacturers guarantee THEN for the next three you use your ASURION guarantee.
I’ve used them for years on many items and they DO have good customer service, but I ALWAYS feel ripped off since most manufacturers give you at least a one year guarantee and Asurion is ripping you off for that FIRST year and including it in their 4 year plan when in fact, it’s a three year plan and doesn’t cover you AT ALL during the manufacturers guarantee yet STATE that it is a four year plan. IT IS NOT. Its a THREE year plan that starts AFTER your manufacturer coverage is up. Sneaky little critters.

What is the diameter of the exhaust hose for the 14,000 btu model? I see 5″ and 5.9″ hoses sold on Amazon.
Answer: The Vremi manual does not provide hose dimensions for my 12k btu unit.

Does it produce a lot of water on heat mode?
Answer: Not to much water I have mine setting on a 2 foot outdoor patio table near the window that is about the same size as the unit and have a square plastic tube behind it with the drain hose hooked to the bottom drain and then drain the water when about half to 3/4 full so I can use the heat or dehumidifier setting

I have vertical windows, how tall does the window kit extend to?
Answer: Do NOT buy this. It’s impossible to return, and is so loud and noisy that you will have health problems if you use this unless you’re using it in an area far away from people or will only use it as a fan.
