Stainless steel finish looks great and doesn’t feel cheap. Aesthetically beautiful but has a major flaw if you don’t fix it.
The problem stems from the connection of the gas line in your house to the inlet on the range using the elbow connector. You might, like I did, connect the gas line to the inlet using the elbow connector and think you did a great job.
You’ll turn one of the knobs, get a fire going in one of the burners, and see fire coming out of one of the knobs. This is very dangerous and almost made me want to return the damn thing.
I called support (they respond quickly and my support experience was great) and was told to install the 2 washers that were included with the range.
Install these washers in the female end of the elbow connector (the part the connects to the gas inlet on the range).
This eliminates any gas leaks under one of the knobs and the unit works perfectly!
Once you get that down, the range is great.

This stove has nice burners and a nice pan rack. It looks as good as my $600 Samsung. It’s also impressively shallow(designed to be about 2″ thick). I have drawers underneath that required only a little work to adjust to work with this stove. The awesomeness stops at this point. The reostat (flame adjusters) are less than great. They turn about a 1/4 of a turns and that includes the off, start, all the way to minimum flame position. It has a safety feature that shuts of the gas unless it senses a flame, (as far as I can tell) its jus like in your furnace or water heater. It seems to use a thermocuple to sense the heat. unfortunately it takes a long time to heat up which requires a painfully long start sequence and you listen to your D cell battery drain with all 400 start clicks required while the system heats up. If they changed out the flame adjusters for a nice smooth, large adjusting set, and removed that painful safety system–this would be a five star stove. Until they figure out the safety system I probably would chose someone else.
