Does it come with screws?
Answer: Yes, it does. Mine had screws and some small accessory pieces that can be used to daisy-chain them together.
Is this adequate enough smoke control solution to be able to roast in the kitchen? Is it complete smokeless?
Answer: I roast inside a closed room and vent the smoke to the window. I have no issues with smoke coming back into the house or from the roaster. If you set it up right, you will probably be fine.
How many modes of wind speed?
Answer: Adjustable 3 speeds. This Portable air cooler features three-speed settings: low, medium, and high.

Call i plug it into a us standard electrical outlet with 120v 60hz?
Answer: Yes, the fan is actually 12V dc. It comes with a 120v to dc converter. Mine came with plug adaptors also, that were not needed.
