does unit have removable drain plug?
Answer: There is a drain, with a plug and one may take it out so it drains continuously. We installed ours about a month ago and, with this heat, have used it almost continuously since. The drain is watering the plant below ??
The manual says not to let water fall into the unit. But the unit has vents and hangs out your window. How do you protect it from rain?
Answer: I have it hung out the window at an angle so the water can drain out

Does this unit come with side window curtains?
Answer: Yes it does also comes w an extra piece that goes over the side window curtain keeps out the light and adds layer to keep cold in I’m thinking about buying it again when my bedroom ac goes out
includes multiple connections? I need car lighter and USB
Answer: Our air cooler is connected by a USB cable, which can support the connection of the USB car charger interface.
Does it have a slide out cabinet ?
Answer: I??m not sure what you mean. The filter slides in and out, and it comes with those things to fill the rest of the window on either side of the unit. Those slide in and out as well.
