I previously purchased this coverage for a portable A/C I purchased a few years ago. Of course this year the A/C gave out & remembered I had the coverage. I msde a claim & they walked me through the entire process making it very easy. The customer service Agents were great & the end result was that it couldn’t be repaired so I was issued an Amazon credit for the amount of the item. I received my credit quickly too. I purchased another A/C unit & a 4yr coverage for my new A/C.

I bought this for the $800.00 window AC unit. The second month i had an issue of not cooling and the company notified me by e mail my unit wasnt covered!!! Dont buy extended warranties (i knew better but..)

How long is the electrical cord on this unit?
Answer: At least 4 ft long.

Seems that stud opening is also 14 1/2. Seems possible to install thru wall as long as hole opening is waterproofed…and unit angled for rear drip?
Answer: I also put a small hole in the outside bottom right corner to allow for water drainage. I used a very small drill bit and was careful not to puncture the heat exchanger or piping in the back. VERY careful. Risk ruining it if you mess it up.

I didn’t see an extended warranty option. But Amazon honors manufactures warranty plus one can put purchase on a credit card that ffg double manufactures warranty
