??POWERFUL AND PRECISE?? 17 power levels per cooking zone will be perfect to make any kind of meals from simmering to roast which will be one of the important decisions to buy this raised. Rating Voltage is 208-240V (2x 110V), 50/60Hz with maximum power output of 3100 Watt. Because of high voltage the electric plug is not included so we suggest to be hardwired directly onto 240V outlet.

I ordered this to replace a single 120v NuWave cooktop that I had been using for over a year and was falling apart. Setup was easy. The most difficult thing was going to buy the plug which took all of 20 minutes. I purchased this based on the reviews on the other configuration which K & H stated was the same unit.

I was amazed at the power this unit has compared to the NuWave. This unit can boil 8 oz of water in a 1 qt pan in aprox 45 seconds! Yes, I timed it. There are 17 cooking levels which I was concerned about compared to what I was used to but I have cooked and fried numerous meals and find these are more than enough. After bringing the heat up to what I want, maintenance levels are usually 4 or under so there are plenty of choices.

The unit shuts off immediately if it detects a spill. I do not have children so I have not used the safety lock which is not enabled by default. The touch controls are easy and simple to understand – turn the unit on, choose a burner to use, and choose a power level – that’s it. My only caution would be to make sure you are ready with your ingredients before turning on the burner, especially if you use a high power level. The pan is hot almost immediately so not a lot of time to start looking for oil or prepping food while it is heating up.

I am using this as a counter top unit but it can be mounted as a built-in in the counter.

To summarize, this is an incredibly powerful cooktop at a price that is far below it’s competition. I am 100% happy with the unit and, if I was remodeling, would buy 2 of these and mount them in the countertop as my only cooking source. Time will tell how the hold up but it appears the unit is well built and I expect to be using this in the years to come.

If you are concerned that this review is too glowing let me assure you I am only a customer and have no affiliation or connection with the manufacturer or seller. It’s simply the best induction cooktop I have ever used and if you have a 240v power source I highly recommend this unit.

Very nice for a small home. We’ve actually used it for canning – it heats up quickly and handles a very large pot. The only problem I have found is the heat is dispersed by small fans on the bottom, which with our countertop install requires we periodically open the cabinet door underneath to exhaust the heat. At no time has it created a hazard, but it gets warm inside.

This is a great stovetop, and worth the extra cost. Highly recommended if the 220 volt wiring doesn’t bother you.

Update January 11, 2020
We had to replace this unit within the first year because one burner stopped working – approximately September 2018. Getting a replacement unit and returning the defective one went smoothly, and the customer service was great. After another year, now the second unit has a failed burner, and we are outside the warranty period. It’s a nice cooktop when it works, so I’m leaving it at 2 stars. We really need 2 working burners, and that is why we decided to purchase this originally. However, 2 failed units in 2 years is not worth the hassle or expense, so I no longer recommend this item. There aren’t a lot of choices for 2 burner induction cooktops, but I will purchase a different brand and try to find one with more than a 1 year warranty.

Customer Questions & Answers

I see references to 17 heat settings but the unit only has 9 buttons. How do you get to 17?
Answer: By pressing the same level setting twice you get the additional in between level. For example if level 5 is pressed twice a period will show up beside the 5 (5.). Also if the unit is already running on a level setting and that level setting is again pressed the unit will advance to the in between setting.

What’s the height/depth of this cooktop? And does there need to be any clearance below it due to heat it gives of or anything? I have a oven below it.
Answer: Ours is mounted in the counter and would have to be removed to measure. It has cooling fans and ours is above some drawers. Running on high for a while generates warmth in the cabinet. But doe not get hot. We use ours all the time and if it breaks tomorrow I’ll order another one!

The electrical out put say 2 x 110 volts but in back of cooktop says 220 v. i am scared to connect. i am in usa?
Answer: You can’t just hook two 110 volt lines to this. For a 220 volt device you’ll need service from your breaker or fuse box that supplies two OUT OF PHASE 110 volt sources with the properly rated circuit protection. If you aren’t comfortable with these concepts hire an electrician for installation.
