I’ve purchased 4 portable air conditioners online in the past, 3 stopped working by the next season, 1 didn’t work at all, and when I asked the vendor to replace the faulty unit, they said I had to return their faulty unit, I soon found out the postage was $400.00, only $25 less then what I paid for it, they offered me half my money back, which I had no choice but to accept.

Frigidaire Dehumidifier Product purchased June 2020 failed Nov 2020. Amazon said I could use the Asurion warranty- to get it replaced immediately as just went thru tropical storm eta. Purchased for storm season & it failed when needed it the most-has the dreaded code FO which is all over the internet. Did what Amazon chat said and went to asurion/amazon site. Went through the entire process. Completed all the claim and They popped up and said go to Frigidaire and cut off the claim as well as their help. It will take forever to get thru Frigidaire I purchased this warranty for 4 yrs $500-$599 product to avoid this, and to be able to replace the unit timely to avoid mold developing in storm season. When I started the claim the co brought up the purchase information then made me fill out all the info again to get thru the claim.

Is there a bucket to empty?
Answer: Yes and no. It will evaporate water, but not in high humidity. I use a wastepaper basket. A bucket is not provided. A hose is provided.
