I ordered the GE Profile 30″ Gas Cook top after ordering and trying different brand which i had to return due to design and quality issues and as soon as it was installed my wife and I imminently noticed the GE quality and easy to use and clean . We liked the feature that the burners parts are removal and can be clean in dishwasher which make it easy to keep it clean. We also like that the lighting LED knobs which are great and keep safe . Make sure to measure correct your cutout if you need to replace old Gas cook top . we had to increase the cutout opening slightly but it was relatively easy to do . Highly Recommended the GE 30″ Profile line .

The knob melted first time we used it. Learned not to put large pi so close to knob.

Can this be used with propane?
Answer: Mine came with a propane conversion valve so you can change it out from natural to propane.

What is the return policy on this?
Answer: Extremely Hard to return because they get Ge involved, too much hassle, Ge will never replace it unless they really have to, it happens to me with my microwave stove wall unit

Doea this have hinged grates?
Answer: No, the grates are not hinged.
