Frigidaire Window-Mounted Room Air Conditioner

I’ve never had an issue with this company. When something breaks they repair or replace it without any fuss at all. They’re quick too; every time I’ve used them, the new item arrives the next day with a return label that it place on the supplied box after packing the broken item in it. This is the way all insurance should work; no hastles, just replace or repair and thank the customer for using their services. Sweet. 🙂

WHEN YOU BUY THESE WARRANTIES THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE FOR. MAYBE THEY SHOULD HAVE A PLACE TO LIST FOR IT IS FOR. IT WOULD BE BETTER IF THEY LISTED WHAT THE WARRANTY WAS FOR!!!!! WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER ONE UNTIL THEY CLEAN THIS UP AND FIX IT

Customer Questions & Answers
how many watts?
Answer: 56 to 58 watts when fan is running. 290 to 350 watts when compressor is running depending on outside/inside air temperature. This information came per my Kilowatt Power Meter attached to the power cord for monitoring it.
Does it have dehumidifier function and is there a drain in the rear. Are there separate drains with AC or single?
Answer: No drain. It splashes the water back onto the motor to help with cooling. That’s how it achieves greater efficiency.
I pulled the production specification sheet off the internet. It states dehumidifier 1.1 pints/hr.
when will the a/c delivered date if ordered
Answer: Received unit within 10 days after ordering
Does this unit have styrofoam inside, or is it plastic?
Answer:
Styrofoam interior panels. When you open or pull down the front plastic cover for accessing the screen filter, you will see the internal styrofoam structure separating the Evaporator Coil sitting in front of you from the rear section or outside of the unit. The bottom integrated drip try is also part of that styrofo??
Does it have side panels?
Answer:
Fully enclosed metal chassis over bottom pan construction designed for installation into a window with extendable side panels for filling in the side gaps when installed in the window opening. Panels have nothing to do with the MAJOR ISSUE identified but rather instead the simple fact that it is missing DRAINAGE HOLES??
