I bought an air cleaner which ended up shorting out after 18 months. I had bought a 4 year protection plan when I made the original purchase so I contacted Asurion and they had refunded me the cost of the air cleaner within minutes. Well worth the money and peace of mind to purchase the plan.

We are in the middle of remodeling our house, so we have ordered a large quantity of things, ranging from flame-less candles to large electronics. As I was going through my order list to make sure that everything has either arrived, or is in transit, I noticed quite a few of these warranties, On certain items, it is smart to purchase extended, no-deductible warranties. The reason that I gave it a one star review, and ultimately asked for a refund is because they couldn’t bother sending me a hard copy of the warranty in the mail that outlines what is covered, etc. Then as I began to open the orders, I wasn’t even able to tell what the warranty went with. It wasn’t even in my order product description. I didn’t receive an e-mail either. What is the point of paying for an extended warranty (some were as high as $65) if I don’t even know what product is being covered, If I pay $65 for an extended warranty, I would expect to receive a letter in the mail outlining what it is I paid for. I suppose it wouldn’t be a problem for someone that was only ordering one thing, as they would know what product it was for, but you still won’t know what they cover, nor will you receive any type of confirmation concerning the dates covered, I really hope that they restructure the way they do these warranties so that in the future I will be able to purchase them, They also need to keep in mind that many people do not have printers, and that the professional thing to do when offering this type of service is to send a hard copy outlining everything. My guess is that they are hoping they will never have to cover you if your purchase is faulty. I buy all of my product “PRIME” because that way I am covered for 30 days with no questions asked, but the unfortunate truth is that we often times don’t know that our products are faulty until a few months after the purchase. A great example would be a Kindle 10 that I purchased approximately 18 months ago. About a year after the purchase, it just stopped charging altogether for no reason. It has been in a case the entire time, and it has always been well cared for. Now I am stuck with a Kindle 10 that I can’t charge,

How effective will this be in a high humidity area? I enjoy going camping and am looking to purchase something to keep smaller tent cool at night
Answer: On their website, it says it??s not good for high humidity areas that get over 70% humidity. It??s better in hot dry climate for putting moisture into the air to cool down the temperature. As much as I love this product, you might be better off with something like a misting fan.
