Top Positive Review
This insurance is kind of a gimmick, kind of not, depending on context. What I mean is that it starts the moment I purchase the product but only covers damage from power surges for my countertop convection oven until the manufacture’s warranty ends. Once the manufacture’s warranty ends then it covers electrical/mechanical malfunctions like a reasonable warranty policy. For most people this is cash grab especially if you have a two or three year manufacture’s warranty. Fortunately, (glass half-full/half empty paradigm) the product I purchased only has a 60 day warranty. That means, if needed, this extended warranty policy is a major win for me. Now whether I will need this and whether Asurion honours this policy in good faith is yet to be determined.
Top Critical Review
There is no way to link the purchase of this “protection plan” to the purchase it was intended to protect.
And when you ask how to link it to a specific purchase, you get a non-answer (see asked questions).
The plan provider loves this situation because there is a very good chance they will never have to pay out on it because many people will not use it, since it cannot be linked to a specific purchase.
Don’t waste your money.

Is it heavy duty? I mean can it cook the dishes such as beans, rice etc.
I love this cook top. I can and have cooked in a 11.5 inch pot on one side and and 10.5 inch frying pan on the other and could probably do 11.5 inch pots on both sides. It boils water and fries easily on both sides at one time. I’ve got a 12″ cast iron frying pan that works well with it and it probably would work wi??
If you use both burners simultaneously, each at maximum wattage, will this trip a circuit breaker?
Answer: The cooktop will only draw 1800 watts (15 amps) total. You can run one burner at 1800 watts or two burners at 900 watts or any combination that does not exceed 1800 watts. It won’t let you use more than 1800 watts so it will not trip a 15 amp breaker unless something else is on the circuit or something goes wrong.
What pots are compatible?
All stainless cookware that is not dirt cheap will have indications at the bottom. look for induction emblem.
A word of caution against using cast iron cookware – heavy cast iron pots or frying pans will get too hot for the cook top to operate normally. It has built-in ventilation to prevent it from overheating. At be??
