*UPDATE* Roughly 6 months in (18 November 2021), still VERY impressed! Unit is working Great! No issues with the unit. I have a tendency of turning it on accidentally (usually when I stack the groceries on it so we can put stuff away), but the beep let’s me know so I can turn it off. As mentioned above, we DO put our grocery bags on top of the unit while we put everything away. I’m sure the seller wouldn’t reccomend doing this, but I haven’t had ANY issues putting 20+ lbs on the top. BTW, we’ve had our largest stock pots – 30 qt – (boiling down bones for broth, etc) boiling for several hours on the cooktop without any issue either.

We haven’t had any scratches on the top. We wash down with a sponge with warm/hot water & dish soap. Every once in awhile – once a month or so, we use a glass cleaner & polish (specially for cooktops).

After 6 months all I can really say is WOW! I was hopeful, but I really didn’t think I would be able to write such a great review about this cooktop – I honestly thought I would have had to replace this with something else, hence the extended warranty. Although I haven’t had any issues, and hopefully won’t, I think it would still be a good idea to get the extended warranty. As I said in the original review, it’s cheap peace of mind.

*Update* Late August 2021 *
After using this unit for over 3 months, all I can still say is: Wow! We use this on average 2 times a day and typically during supper we have 3 or 4 burners going – every once in awhile 5. I’m still very impressed with this cooktop. Still working extremely well and as far as I’m concerned, I’d put this up against the better $1,000+ units any day if the week. I still think that the extended warranty is really good (& inexpensive) peace of mind!

** Original Review follows **

What can I say, but WOW! This cooktop is great! Easy drop-in replacing a same size glass top ceramic (Radiant Electric). All Total, I spent about 30 mins on the install (because I also cut in a new outlet on our island).

Function of this unit is Really, Really, Great! Mostly obvious controls – in this case, the owners manual needed to be glanced through.

Cooking on this is truly great! In my opinion, just a bit better than a gas stove.

Because of the brand name (or lack of a real one) and the price, I would highly suggest getting the extended warranty. If I recall correctly, it was around $9 for a 5 yr policy. A paltry sum should something go wrong with the unit.

Overall, I would highly recommend this induction cook top!

Please be aware that you Will Need INDUCTION pots & pans for this to work ( or at least to work properly). The better induction pans you have/purchase, the better (& more effient) this unit will work!

Hope this help!

Customer Questions & Answers

Hello! Do you have a detailed guide or complete instruction manual on how to install this? Our electrician is confused about the cord connection.
Answer: Dear customer, you could refer to the pictures displayed on our product page, the connection just need to correctly tighten the wire that the induction cooker and your wall power supply.

Hi. We cannot get the burners to work on our stovetop. It was installed by a licensed electrician and the power is on but the burners will not heat.
Answer:

Are you using the right pans? They need to be metal. Aluminum bottom pans will not conduct the heat. Cast iron and other metals work great. They sell metal induction pads that you put under your non working pans to conduct the heat so you don??t have to go out and buy a whole new set. They can be sort of spendy though s??

How many lbs can each burner hold or carry?
Answer: Dear customer,

Thanks for your question.

The load-bearing capacity of each burner is 25 lbs. Hope this helps you.

Does the cutout have to be 20″ or can it be 19.5″ or less? Also is the depth less than 3″ all across? Some actual product dimensions would help.
Answer: Look at the previous questions. I posted the actual measurements. The depth is 3″ all except the back center the power cord comes out the bottom. It needs about another inch for clearance

en las especificaciones dice que es a 50 hertz, en los estados unidos son 60 hertz, funciona en este pais?
Answer: Hola gracias por tu pregunta

Se pueden utilizar 60 HZ.

Espero que te ayude
